Reading: We will learn about /ew/as
in new, /ue/ as in clue and /ui/ as in fruit. We will also learn about the
prefixes /un/ and /re/. Our reading skill will be story mapping and structure
of a story. Our grammar skill will be finding adjectives (describing words) in
a sentence.
High-Frequency
words: such, because, turn, here, why, ask, went, men, read, need
Math: We will continue our unit
on measurement. We will be using non-strand units of measurement. Non-standard
units of measurement are paperclips, cubes, pencils, etc.
Social
Science:
We will be learning about spring and St. Patrick’s Day!
