Spelling: The next spelling test
will be November 22nd. Please remember that spelling words are graded this nine
weeks. The dictation sentences will not be graded, just the words!

* Please use correct
letter formation on spelling homework.
Reading: Monday, we will start to
read, An Egg is an Egg. We will learn about the vowel sounds of /y/ like
try or lucky. We will learn about the verbs (action words) in a sentence. We
will talk about compare and contrast.
High-Frequency words are: said,

Math: We will review addition,
subtraction and begin to learn about geometry. We will learn about 2d and 3d shapes.
We will talk about how many sides and vertices (points) each shape has. If you
would like to bring in a 3d shape from home, please do. J
Social
Science:
We will be doing Thanksgiving activities.
