Reading: We will learn about long i
/ie/ as in tie and /igh/ as in high. We
will also learn about beginning blend /wr/ as in write and /kn/ as in knife.
Our reading skill will be to tell the difference between realism and fantasy.
Our grammar skill will be finding adjectives (describing words) in a sentence.
High-Frequency words: set,
end, put, does, another, well, large, big, must, even
Math: We will begin our unit on measurement.
We will be using non-strand units of measurement. Non-standard units of
measurement are paperclips, cubes, pencils, etc.
Social
Science: We
will be learning about space.
