First Blog Contest!!!
For our first Blog Contest we are asking that each parent post your child's favorite thing about school and their teacher's name. Each class in the first grade blue pod that has at least 5 coments on this post by Thursday, September 29. We will have a popcorn party on Friday, September 30th. We are off to a great start this year!!!!
Lesson Plans September 26-30
Language Arts
Students will :
• blend, segment, decode, write & spell words with short “e”
• read with comprehension and identify Realism & Fantasy
• read simple HF words, simple sentences and passages
• write simple sentences
Math:
Students will:
• complete calendar activities, daily data & problem of the day
• demonstrate concepts of numbers sense (understanding combining situations)
Social Science:
Students will:
• Discuss and identify characteristics of fall/apples
• Discuss Johnny Appleseed
