Plans
Spelling: Spelling homework will
not start until the week of August 18th-22nd.
Reading: Students will review
Kindergarten sight words. We will also review rhyming words, short a,
handwriting and writing simple sentences.
Math: We
will review number words 1-20 and patterns. We will also learn about number
sense, basic concepts of addition and missing numbers. Example: 1 and 7 make 8
or 2 and 6 make 8.
Social Science: We will start a unit on
“All About Me!” Please look for a “me” bag to come home on Monday night and
return Tuesday.
