Weekly Plans
Spelling: There will not be a
spelling test this Friday. Please practice the words for homework for your
child to understand the skill.
Words are:
bang, blink, ring, pink, rang, flagpole, inside, backpack, bedtime, lunchbox,
an, each
* Please use correct letter
formation on spelling homework.
Reading: We will learn about the
final -ng as in wing and –nk as in bank.
Our reading skill we be plot. Students will also learn about compound words as
in raincoat. Our grammar skill will be to learn about commas in a series (I
went to the store and bought milk, eggs, and fruit.) and commas in dates (June 14, 2013).
High-Frequency words are:
Review all high-frequency words for the second nine weeks. Test will be
December 8th.
Math: We will continue to
missing addends and fact families.
Social
Science:
We will learn about Christmas traditions.
