Weekly Plans for April 14-18

Weekly Plans:

Spelling: Our next spelling test will be on Friday, April 17^th.

Words: boil, boy, coin, join, oil, oink, point, soil, toy, voice, who, find

* Please use correct letter formation on spelling homework

 

Reading:  We will learn about the /oy/ as in boy and /oi/ as in boil.

We will learn about words with the suffix –er as in writer and –or as in collector.

Our reading skill will be main idea.

Our grammar skill is to learn about possessive phrases.

High-Frequency words are: change, off, play, spell, air, away, animal, house, point, page

 

 

Math: We will learn more about graphs. Please review addition and subtraction facts with your child.

 

                      Social Science: We will discuss Easter.  Please send any resources like books or anything else
