Students will :

• blend, segment, decode, write & spell words with long a: ai & ay

• read with comprehension and identify draw conclusions

• introduce adjectives

• read simple HF words, simple sentences and passages

• write simple sentences

Math: COS # 9-14, CC 1-NBT 1-6

Students will:

• complete calendar activities, Mountain math, daily data & problem of the day

• Students will extend the counting sequence, understand place value and use place value to add and subtract

Social Science: COS SS#3 S#4

Students will discuss and identify characteristics of Valentine’s Day
